Five new retail concepts, including NBC morning show “Today,” Time magazine and Porsche Design, will open their first airport stores at the McNamara Terminal next year as part of a $13million overhaul there.
The shops are among more than 20 new retailers opening in a refurbishment effort that also includes the redesign of several existing stores, according to the Wayne County Airport Authority.
National brands such as Johnson & Murphy, The Body Shop, EA SPORTS, Spanx and PANDORA will open stores along with locally based companies — Mills Pharmacy + Apothecary from Birmingham and fitness store Running Fit from Ann Arbor.
